While I was waiting

The reality of working as a photographer: there's a lot more waiting than people imagine. Photography is more than the perfect shot or the magic moment everyone expects. Much of our work happens in the quiet in-between times, waiting for light to change, for subjects to arrive, or for technical issues to resolve.

These images capture those honest moments from one of those days. The unglamorous reality behind the scenes that rarely makes it into portfolios, but somehow tells just as much of the story about what I do.
